Further Education

 

The school offers a comprehensive programme of further education for successful participants of the clown/mime actor training course. Candidates with a comparable education have the opportunity to acquire further qualification, starting with the course series "The Pure Clown".

Our training concept follows a systematic pattern which begins with the play of the pure clown. This principle can be found in the typical red nose clown and in the whiteface circus clown whose playful manners bring back our own naive joy and fantasy.

 

In the second training block we are confronted with the character clown who is orientated more towards drama. The character clown has taken off his protective red nose and reflects to us how we fail in our self-organised implications. The result is a terrific "staging of failure".

In stand-up clowning we deepen the capacity to improvise in every situation, putting all techniques of "The 5 rooms of laughter" into practice very effectively.

 

For those who want to study and apply the "clown method" in its educational, therapeutic, or communicational function we suggest the courses "Clown coaching" or "Clown education".

The clown as a coach can be found especially in communication, personality, and mediation trainings in the form of a tutor and mentor. The training as a clown teacher qualifies to conduct workshops for children and adults.
