Put yourself in the spotlight!

It makes a difference whether we improvise spontaneously as clowns, drawing on our clowning techniques, as you learned in the first four modules of the clown training, or whether we work on a clown act.

In act coaching, you can further develop your clown character and develop existing acts, sketches, and scenes under the direction of a director and present them publicly.

This involves:

  • a clear thematic or playful theme
  • the structure of the act
  • timing
  • repeatability
  • emotional work
  • characters and character development
  • building and maintaining a strong arc of tension
  • punchlines, climaxes, and a conclusion to the act
  • audience involvement
  • costume advice,
  • props, and stage setup

You can attend act coaching during your training, between the individual modules, to further develop your individual clown character and work on your own stage acts. After just the first intensive week of your training, you can put together your own act and then gain initial experience performing.

  • Because clowns only become truly good with the help of an audience.

Once you've completed all four modules, you can combine all the solo and duo techniques into a complete program in the number coaching program, preparing you for the certified clown qualification after one year of training and for the final examination to become a "State-Recognized Clown Actor" after three years.

So don't be shy - go for it!

After all, clowns need an audience, and audiences need clowns.
