Weiterbildung zum Klinikclown und Clownpfleger

A good clown reaches out to people and touches their hearts

This quality also takes them to places where there is nothing to laugh about. Where people are alone, sick, confused, yearning, anxious, and abandoned. The clown bridges the gap from sorrow to joy. With fun, wit, and humor, the clown reminds us that alongside all the problems and conflicts, pain and grief, joy and love exist simultaneously.

  • Clown caregivers facilitate contact where "normal" conversations fail.
  • Clown caregivers open up new access to the often hidden vitality of sick and demented seniors.
  • Clown caregivers effortlessly bridge the barriers when working with people with and without disabilities.
  • Clown caregivers visit and support children and adults in difficult life situations, for example, in hospitals, but also in children's homes, nursing homes, or at work with people of different social and ethnic backgrounds.

With humor and through clown-like acting, people can be approached in a special way.

  • The "5 Rooms of Laughter" program prepares participants for this role.

The necessary experience to work as a certified clown caregiver in nursing homes, hospitals, and facilities for the disabled is provided through a preparatory clown caregiver/clinic clown practical course and a specially supervised internship.
