Vom Glück ein Clown zu sein

The 2nd Room of Laughter

Playing like a clown - Curiosity and creation - The clown views the world with imagination - That's why a chair is far from just a chair. In play, it becomes a house, a tower, a horse, or a ship that guides us through the dangerous surf - The play partner becomes an accomplice in a fantastic world where something new happens every moment.

Playing in the 2nd Room of Laughter begins with great wonder. With wonder, new worlds open up. The world that surrounds us is no longer just a duplication. We now have enough courage and self-confidence to embark on a true adventure.

We expand our perception of ourselves to include the unknown space that surrounds us. Wonder is the playful door opener. The clown in the 2nd Room teaches us wonder. Because wonder is more than just looking. Our imagination and the development of our fantasy play a crucial role in this. We develop imagination by asking sensual questions, opening ourselves up, and allowing ourselves to be touched.

We learn the art of inspiration. And we notice how things change depending on how we look at them. We reach into the air, sense, discover, shape, transform, and associate. Our gestures become signs, forms, meanings, and ultimately, entire stories develop from them. The clown teaches us the playful art of clownish mime. We become storytellers and inventors of new worlds.

I'm in!

More important than the plot and content for the creative flow of the game are the relationship and the bond between the play partners. The relationship offered in the second space of laughter is the accomplice

The "big yes" of the accomplices to each other is:

  • I am with you. I stand by you no matter what you do.
  • I understand what you do, even if I don't.

From this unconditional "yes," the relationship bond is formed. By complementing and associating, the accomplices confirm and inspire each other. This complicit consent exists even when the plot and content are unclear. Every gap or leak in the playful plot is absorbed by the relationship and bridged with a consensual "I'm in!"

With you - With you - Wherever you are and with everything we find there.
