The School for Clowns, Comics, and Comedy offers a three-year, state-recognized training program to become a clown actor.
The systematically structured courses teach the "hands and hearts of the clown" and the development and development of various clown characters, step by step.
The clown courses are complemented by a wide range of minor subjects. Each student chooses an elective technique to further their knowledge. Options include mime, acrobatics, juggling, music, or voice.
Practical stage experience is gained on the workshop stages as part of the training, which also count as practical exams to qualify for the final examination to become a state-certified clown actor.
Here, clown students can present self-developed acts and scenes to a public audience in our theater.
The clown actor training consists of individual modules. In the first year, the training is identical to the clown and communication courses. This is followed by further in-depth courses, study groups, and act coaching to prepare for the final exam.
