Trainings

You want to become a clown and learn the ins and outs of clowning from the ground up.

Then you have many options:

To ensure that everyone can develop their own personal clown character and their individual acting style during their training, we have developed a training concept that caters to both personal development and the professional teaching of the necessary acting techniques.

Because clowns are as diverse as the people behind them.

The traditional circus clown has long since ceased to define the image of a clown. Today, clowns can be found in a wide variety of contexts:

  • on stage, on the street, on cabaret stages, in variety shows and at events, and of course in the circus,
  • but also in hospitals and retirement homes as clinical clowns and clown nurses,
  • in therapeutic and educational work,
  • or as trainers and clown coaches in communication and mediation.

All our training courses are divided into modules and systematically complement each other. This allows you to determine your own training path, depending on where clowning takes you.

Further Training

Are you interested in further training to become a hospital clown, clown nurse, or clown coach?

A good clown reaches out to people and touches their hearts

This quality takes the hospital clown and clown nurse to places where there is nothing to laugh about. Where people are alone, sick, confused, yearning, fearful, and abandoned.

The hospital clown bridges the gap from sorrow to joy, and as a clown coach, from conflict to cooperation.

  • With humor and clown-like acting, people can be approached in a special way.
  • Clowns facilitate contact where "normal" conversations fail.

The clown is more than just a fictional character. He awakens in us an old, lost desire to turn things upside down and look at them from a different perspective. Thus, the clown represents a way of seeing the world, communicating, and acting.

His method is play, and a good clown is a master of play.

The Art of Playful Failure. The Book.

The Clown Method as a School of Life.

Failure is often a taboo subject, a stigma that clings to us. Even if it's propagated that we can learn from failure, that it's an opportunity, even an art. But when something actually goes wrong, the blame is often pushed far away. Because failures dent one's self-confidence.

In business, failure has only been celebrated as something positive in recent years: a supposedly new insight. Known as Failure Night or Fuckup Night. Clowns have internalized this insight for centuries. Trying to avoid defeat inevitably goes wrong at some point, because stumbling is an integral part of our lives. Every step we take forward involves a fall. A potential crash that we catch at the last moment. Without taking this risk of falling and stumbling, we don't make any progress. Without failure, there is no progress. We fail our way forward, so to speak!

  • Perhaps you've already read a few books about self-confidence. But have you managed to change your basic attitude in the long term?

The clown method is far more than a collection of tips and tricks that we use occasionally. It's a life lesson, and it works so well because a clown turns every disadvantage into an advantage, thus gaining great self-confidence.

  • With him, we find our way back to laughing, even when we don't feel like it.

Here you'll learn why we can learn from a clown, and why we need to shift our thinking to feeling.
